Even though gremy has better HE and better rudder shift, Anshan may actually be a better dogfighter able to angle better and keep guns tracking on target. Please mark leaks with spoiler tags, like this: Smolensk is balanced!. I optimize turret traverse because I like to mix it up with other DDs and the improvements enable turrets to remain on-target while manuevering even with rudder shift upgrade. better turrets.faster and number 3 turret forward arc isn't restricted as much as Gnevney/Gremy, so you can get more turrets on target while maintaining a slim slightly angled frontal profile. easy on the eyes, better looking than Gremy due to the post-war modernization of the the ship has faster torps, was the first thing that caught my attention because I always had thought the combo of 55 kts plus launching out at ~7km limited effectiveness of stealth torping only $20 for a mid-tier credit making DD that also makes free more free XP I bought it and think it was a great ship. I am still waiting for a big match in it. You definitely were the one who got me interested in this ship and I think I will end up liking it. I noticed it your rank this morning and I put a shot out on the channel. Adds up quick.Ĭongrats on making rank 1 sir. You really want to keep your distance from the usn dds but if you stay at decent range you can punish them quick.Įdit: The free xp on its camo though is a nice bonus, on a decent match I can earn 3 to 4 hundred xp on a bad match 200 free xp.

I prefer it over the ognevoi since if it loses a gun it doesn't lose half the fire power. I enjoy it and would definitely consider anshan to be a better tier 6 than the others available except maybe the farragut. Versus tier 8 dds you will have to depend on your team for help. Anshan with its 8km torps are a step up and while it suffers the poor turret traverse if you play it similar to a gnevy it shouldn't be a problem. Gnevy was already good for me at tier 5 and sometimes a little over competitive (for me anyway).
